Carrier WiFi for six national universities

Orange Côte d'Ivoire

Context: Orange Côte d'Ivoire wanted to equip six national universities — Cocody (UFHB), INP-HB Yamoussoukro, UAO, UNA, UPGC and UJLoG — with high-performance, secure, centrally managed campus WiFi for thousands of students and staff.
Intervention: Deployment, through SunuTechnology, of a carrier-grade WiFi network built on Ruckus, architected around two redundant Virtual SmartZone (VSZ) controllers, with a new RADIUS authentication server and a new captive portal server.
Result: A secure mobility network supporting multimedia collaboration across all campuses — serving innovation, flexibility and efficiency for the universities.

GAMTEL & GAMCEL

Context: Gambia's incumbent operator needed to make its network core more reliable and establish a backup site capable of taking over.
Intervention: Design and deployment of a Cisco-based backbone, along with a complete backup site.
Result: A resilient national network, able to fail over in the event of a major incident.

MTN

Context: The operator wanted to strengthen intrusion detection across its core network infrastructure.
Intervention: Deployment of an IPS-probe-based security solution, integrated with existing monitoring.
Result: Real-time visibility into threats targeting the network core.

Burkina Faso Customs

Context: The customs administration was hosting its critical applications under poorly controlled conditions.
Intervention: Construction of a Cisco-based data center: infrastructure, network, monitoring.
Result: Customs systems now hosted in a secure, monitored, scalable environment.

Security & HardeningMauritania

Telecom operator

Context: The operator needed to measure the real exposure of its telecommunications infrastructure.
Intervention: Full audit: mapping, penetration testing, architecture analysis and configuration review.
Result: A security roadmap prioritized by criticality, with remediation support.

Backbone MPLS & RoutingMali

Énergie du Mali (EDM SA)

Context: EDM SA, Mali's national electricity generation, transmission and distribution company, needed to upgrade the switching layer of its Bamako local network to support data alongside IP telephony and video surveillance/conferencing.
Intervention: Design of a redundant LAN architecture: two Cisco Catalyst 9200 Advantage core switches operating in HSRP with VLAN load-sharing, trunked to Catalyst 9200L access switches serving workstations, printers, IP phones and WiFi access points.
Result: A local network with no single point of failure at the switching core, ready for unified communications.

Revolution'Air

Context: Revolution'Air, a licensed telecom operator based in Kigali, wanted to deliver broadband Internet access via fixed wireless — dish and receiver installations — to homes and businesses, including in areas poorly served by wireline.
Intervention: Set-up and ongoing support of the operator: design of the wireless-link infrastructure and continuous support for network operations.
Result: Broadband Internet access rolled out in Kigali without heavy cabling work, extended to underserved areas of the country.

Hôtel Azalaï

Context: The hotel wanted to turn connectivity into a genuine guest-satisfaction asset.
Intervention: Deployment of a Ruckus Hospitality solution covering guest rooms and common areas.
Result: A seamless connection experience for guests, monitored around the clock.
